A "Gardener's Experience"
When you visit the Kentucky Experience, you can expect to see the "Green Thumb" of Kentuckian Jon Carloftis, a nationally-renowned garden planner and rooftop garden designer. Carloftis is donating his talent and expertise to turn the Kentucky Experience into a gardener's paradise.
Carloftis was born and raised in rural Kentucky. He's now considered to be one of the rising stars as an American garden designer whose style, taste, originality and authenticity is as fascinating as it is inspiring.
Even though he travels throughout the country, Carloftis still returns often to the Bluegrass to nurture his Kentucky roots. He remains involved with his family business, The Rockcastle River Trading Company, and his newest book, "Beautiful Gardens of Kentucky" focuses on the 21 most unique outdoor spaces in the Commonwealth.
Find out more about Jon Carloftis and his new book.  |  Visit Web Site
